Ping is committed to full compliance with the WhatsApp Business Policy , the Meta Platform Terms , and the WhatsApp Commerce Policy .
Opt-in and consent
Customers must obtain verifiable consent before messaging users through Ping
Our onboarding asks every new tenant to confirm they have lawful opt-in
Every broadcast goes through a consent check against the Contact table's consentStatus field
All messages must include a clear way to opt out (STOP, unsubscribe link, or menu button)
Template approval
Business-initiated conversations only use Meta-approved message templates
Ping does not bypass template rules via session windows or conversation workarounds
Categories are tagged correctly: Marketing, Utility, Authentication
Prohibited content
Ping will not process campaigns promoting:
Illegal goods or services
Tobacco, recreational drugs, or weapons
Adult content or services
Multi-level marketing or get-rich-quick schemes
Misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent claims
Political campaigning in prohibited jurisdictions
Content targeting minors with adult products
Data protection
All WhatsApp tokens stored with AES-256-GCM encryption
All Graph API calls signed with appsecret_proof
No user data sold or shared with third parties
Message content not used to train AI models

Reporting violations
If you believe a Ping user is violating the WhatsApp Business Policy or Meta Platform Terms, report it to [email protected] with the tenant identifier. We investigate and take action (including termination) within 5 business days.
